Antique Late Victorian Mahogany Two-Tier Serving Stand c.1880
A late Victorian two-tier serving stand in well-figured mahogany with a warm, deep colour and pleasing patina. Each tier is framed with a raised gallery to three sides, supported at the corners by finely turned baluster uprights terminating with smooth running original brass castors.
A refined piece of late Victorian service furniture, designed to move easily between rooms. Its narrow footprint and twin shelves make it equally practical today as a side table, drinks stand or display stand for ceramics, books, or objets d’art.
Presented in very good antique condition with minor surface wear consistent with age and use. Structurally sound, clean and ready to place in the home.
English, circa 1880.
