A superb quality large early 19th Century Goncalo Alves (also known as tigerwood) partners desk, the moulded edge top having a olive green coloured leather writing surface decorated with gold and blind tooling, having six mahogany lined frieze drawers three either side) with the original wooden knob handles, standing on four elegant and bold turned legs terminating on brass cap and castors.  Circa 1840.
