Here we are pleased to offer you this George III walnut chest on chest of a great small size.

It is a lovely mellow honey colour (it is slightly lighter in colour than the images show)

As in all chests on chests (Tallboys) it was made in 2 parts.

The top section has 3 drawers along the top under the concave cornice, and with 3 graduated drawers under, all fitted with brass plate handles.

The lower section has 3 graduated drawers under.

All the drawers are cross banded with a herringbone stringing.

The sides are cross banded.

This George III walnut chest on chest stands on bracket feet.

As this tallboy is of a great size it can be used in a drawing room, entrance hall and dining area, as well as in a bedroom or landing.
