The beautifully figured tilt-top is edged with a crisply carved gadrooned border, resting upon a bold central baluster column with spiralled foliate carving. The table is supported on a quadraform base with sweeping scrolled legs, each enriched with further gadrooned detail, terminating in castors for ease of movement.
This piece exemplifies the craftsmanship of the early 19th century, combining elegant proportions with richly detailed carving, making it an ideal centrepiece for a dining room or collection.
