Description
An extremely rare and exceptionally beautiful set of 18th Century Chinese Chippendale Padouk wood Hanging Shelves. Having the most wonderfully fine shaped fretted ends and of very good burnished colour and surface. In remarkable original condition having only one replaced section of note to the centre of the top left end. The fixings to the top for attachment to the wall are quite possibly original to the piece as the age is considerable and there don''t appear to be any more fixings.
A wonderful fine and elegant piece and a remarkable survivor from the chippendale period. Circa 1760
