Description
A fine quality Victorian Period mahogany wellington chest. Constructed throughout in the finest solid mahogany and having a rectangular top above an arrangement of eight graduating drawers with mahogany linings and turned drawer pulls, flanked by twin mahogany pilasters with finely carved corbels. The right hand pilaster is hinged, which acts as a locking mechanism. In stunning condition, colour and patination, complete with working key. English circa 1860-1870
