A rare George III tambour desk in mahogany and Lace-wood with boxwood stringing and cock-beading. Raised on fine square tapered legs terminating in brass castors with leather wheels. Above are two frieze drawers, with dummies to the ends and back, and the tambour top which opens to reveal a green leather interior. In good condition. 860mm high, 760mm wide and 570mm deep. English. Circa 1790.

Provenance: Formerly retailed by W.R.Harvey & Co. Old Bond Street, Mayfair and thence into a private collection.
