Description

A very large Japanese Meiji period Bronze Elephant okimono. This exceptionally imposing bronze stands 660mm (26'') tall with trunk raised, (a symbol of good luck) and has a lovely textured surface and patina. In very good and original condition and singed underneath. 660mm high, 690mm wide and 350mm deep. Japan. Circa 1880.
