A superb quality set of eight George III Sheraton dining chairs comprising six singles and two carvers, crafted in fine mahogany. Each chair displays elegant reeded curved backs with a central turned roundel, typical of Sheraton’s refined neo-classical aesthetic.

The frames are beautifully shaped, with gently swept back legs and well-proportioned turned and reeded front legs, all standing sturdy and true. The set has been newly reupholstered in a tasteful patterned fabric which complements the warmth of the mahogany.

Condition

The chairs are in excellent condition for their age, the mahogany frames standing sturdy with no looseness or movement. The reeded backs and turned legs remain crisp and well defined, showing only minor age-related surface marks consistent with genuine period use. The seats have been newly reupholstered, offering a clean and comfortable finish. Overall, a very well-preserved and ready-to-use set.
