An antique Regency set of four mahogany dining chairs with beautifully figured bar backs, upholstered seats and elegant sabre legs.
This quality set comprises four matching chairs, each with a broad curved upper back rail displaying attractive flame mahogany figuring. A narrower curved lower rail completes the open bar back design, while the gently shaped uprights continue smoothly down towards the seat.
The chairs have generous upholstered seats covered in a dark brown patterned fabric. They are raised on elegant sabre legs which give the chairs their distinctive Regency profile and create a refined sense of movement.
A handsome and practical set of antique dining chairs with warm colour and elegant proportions, suitable for use around a dining or breakfast table.
Condition
In good antique condition with light marks and signs of wear consistent with age and use. The upholstery is in good usable condition. All are sturdy and structurally sound.
