Description
A lovely queen Anne style burr walnut writing desk from the early 20th century. Very well constructed in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. The rectangular top fitted with a sumptuous conker coloured leather writing surface, complete with tooled decorations to the surrounds. With a series of 5 drawers all fitted with their charming original ornate solid brass handles and locks. Working keys supplied for 3 of the drawers. All standing on ornate carved and scrolling legs which are united by under-stretchers. Sympathetically repolished in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent condition, with a good colour and patina.
