A fine quality antique Regency mahogany chiffonier / sideboard of superb craftsmanship and elegant proportion crafted from richly figured mahogany with a deep, lustrous patina, this piece exemplifies the refinement and symmetry characteristic of the late Georgian Regency period. The raised back features finely carved scroll and foliate decoration supported on turned columns above a generous serving surface. Below are two frieze drawers over a double cupboard enclosed by beautifully matched mahogany panels.

The front is flanked by slender column supports and the sideboard stands proudly on bold carved lion’s paw feet, adding both balance and grandeur to the overall design. The clean classical lines, restrained ornamentation, and superior timber selection are all hallmarks of Regency furniture at its best.

This impressive sideboard would make a distinguished statement in any dining room, hallway, or formal interior.
