See shipping detailsA very good quality French bronze and gilt bronze clock set comprising of a mantel clock and two candelabra garnitures dating from the mid 19th century. The mantel clock has a bronze body, flanked by two gilt bronze cranes, and is surmounted with a bronze cherub in a chariot holding on to reins with doves in flight in the clouds. The clock has a white enamel dial with a decorative engine turned centre and Roman numerals, and the movement is an eight day duration which strikes the hours and half hours on a bell.
The pair of twin arm candelabra garnitures have trumpet shaped arms which terminate to bronze and gilt bronze bobeche trays and cups.
The clock movement backplate is stamped with the makers name - Japy Freres
The clock movement has been cleaned and serviced and comes with a 12 month guarantee.
