The table has a beautiful and intricate central inlaid panel of an abbey ruin with detailed inlays of ducks, birds, trees, and flowers to the rest of the table each created using around twenty various woods. The marquetry is of the highest standard throughout.

The cabriole legs are adorned with impressive bronze gilt mounts of female faces with floral design terminating to scrolling sabot feet.  The table frame has a decorative gadroon moulded edge with shells to the corners and also features the green man mask to the front and rear frieze.

To the front there is a single oak lined drawer which is opened by a spring loaded catch.
