Description

Superb quality card table circa 1780.

Of solid mahogany construction with the detail of boxwood stringing inlay to the top and gaming surface.

Single hinged leg to support the fold over flap. Deep drawer to one end. Arched corner blocks.

The colour throughout is stunning. Evidence of previous use as to be expected. As detailed in the images this table would once have had dummy handles fitted to the front face.

At well over 200 years of age this table is strong, sturdy and perfectly usable immediately.
