A Georgian period plumbwood and elm close stool with faux drawers to the front. The front and top are made in plumbwood with a hinged planked and cleated top with a thumb molded edge. The faux drawers each having cock beading and original plumbwood knobs. The ends are made of elm boards with shaping to match the front bracket feet.

A great usable piece of furniture at the side of a sofa for storage.
