Description
This is a good Kashan carpet dating from around 1920. The carpet is finely drawn and has a pleasingly smart design with rows of boteh in a rich ivory field, with vines running between them all enclosed in neat triple borders of madder and ivory. With a neat low pile the carpet is in excellent order and measures 154 cms by 106 cms.
