This Good Quality Inlaid Rosewood Bonheur Du Jour is a real treat for your eyes. Elegantly drawn, with a useable writing area and good amounts of drawer storage. The refined tapered legs terminate with a brass castor & rim with a black porcelain wheel. The whole piece is inlaid with copious amounts of line inlay and marquetry detailing.
The writing surface is lined with a faded green tooled hide top. The drawer fronts are decorated with marquetry and have their original brass handles. The top is finished off with a polished brass gallery. The rich Rosewood colour contrasts so sharply with the inlaid decoration to make a real statement.
Being finished all round this Bonheur can be placed centrally in a room. Presented in fully restored condition this piece is sure to make a statement wherever placed in the house.
