Description

This is a most impressive very large pair of Chinese Tang style caprisoned horses decorated in the Sancai glaze of amber, green and creamy white that was particularly associated with the Tang Dynasty 618-907 and its tomb figures. The elegant horses is modelled with open mouth and projecting tail are fine examples dates from around 1920 and are in perfect condition with no damage or restoration.

The horses are really imposing and of grand scale measuring 70 cms high 70 cms long by 24 cms deep.
