Large Georgian Mahogany Chest on Chest with Brushing Slide – c.1800
An impressive large Georgian mahogany chest on chest, dating from the early 19th century.
This handsome piece features two short over six long graduated drawers, together with a full-width brushing slide, offering both practicality and elegant period design.
The moulded dentil cornice, finely figured mahogany and graceful splay feet enhance its classic Georgian proportions, while the generous drawer depth provides excellent storage. Presented in excellent restored condition with a rich warm patina, this substantial chest separates into two sections for easier transportation.
A superb statement piece, ideal for both period and contemporary interiors.
