Monumental antique Victorian exhibition quality carved oak sideboard by Maple and Co. having an arched shaped bevelled edge mirror back with exhibition fine quality carved oak pieced carvings supported by four Corinthian carved columns raised on carved scrolls.  The base having a quality oak serpentine shaped top with a carved edge above three drawers with carved oak handles above a pair of bow fronted carved moulded panelled doors opening to reveal sliding trays flanked by two single carved moulded panelled doors opening to reveal two cellarette and storage compartments flanked by square tapering carved columns, fantastic panelled sides and standing on a plinth base with original keys.  Marked by the maker Maple and Co.

 

A showcase piece boasting the most incredible detailed carving.  A superior piece of the highest quality crafted by one of the leading makers of the period.
