A rare quality 17th Century Oak high back Settle of superb colour, the well carved back with lunette and scrolling leaf work decoration and bearing the initials W.S.S. Wonderful untouched dry surface and golden colour to the back of the piece.

A fine piece of early English Oak Furniture most likely to have been made in Yorkshire around 1680.
