Description

Rare American Chippendale serving/console table having a magnificent block front mahogany top with a moulded edge, one drawer to the centre with very grand original brass swan neck handles and escutcheon. It boasts a stunning block front with an expertly carved and shaped mahogany frieze standing on fabulous unusual scrolled shaped and carved cabriole legs with claw and ball feet.

This is truly an extraordinary handsome example. The elegant proportions and extremely high quality of design and craftsmanship are very evident making this a rare piece.
