Description
A superb late Regency period rosewood side cabinet, or chiffonier. Of excellent construction in solid rosewood with attractive rosewood veneers onto a mahogany carcas. The rectangular top is decorated with brass inlaid detailing. There is a single long drawer to the freeze. Beneath are a pair of cupboard doors (lockable, key supplied) which open to reveal a shelved interior. The cupboard doors are decorated with gilded moldings and flanked by beautiful columns in solid rosewood with scrolling corbels. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops, this item is ready to go straight into the home. It has a wonderful colour and patina and is in excellent overall condition.
