This Set of 8 (6+2) 19thC Farmhouse Rush Seated Ladderback Chairs simply ooze charm and charisma. Constructed mainly from Ash that has mellowed to a lovely rich colour with great patination, as the chairs display their history of use with pride, and look all the better for it!

Standing on turned legs with a generous toe, and a good bulbous turned stretcher rail between the front legs. The traditional ladderback design to the backs and rush seating are hall marks of country farmhouse chairs.

Like so many sets of country chairs of this age, these are a matched set with tiny differences in the details and dimensions, that are barely noticeable, but just wanted to make you aware of. In fact, these minor differences just add to the rustic handmade appeal of these chairs and add further charm to them.

All the chairs are sturdy, waiting to grace a farmhouse table and be used for many more years as you add to their history.
