Description
For sale is a fine quality Victorian Burr Walnut Piano Top Pop Up Davenport. The top of the davenport has a fretted gallery on top of a hinged lid, opening to reveal a fitted interior for stationary etc. Below this is the ''piano Top'' again, this is hinged to reveal a leather inset writing surface as well as various drawers, the writing surface pulls out for ease of access. Within on of the drawers is a secret button which activates the ''pop up'' mechanism at the back of the piece. The side of the davenport has an assortment of drawers, each with turned handles. This piece is in excellent condition with minor wear commensurate with age and use.
