A very desirable mid-Victorian period chiffonier , or whatnot. Well constructed in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. Decorated with inlaid detailing throughout in satinwood, boxwood and ebony. The superstructure with two levels, each with mirrors fitted with their original beveled glass plates. All surmounted with open fret-work galleries. The main body of the chiffonier with a single drawer over a central cupboard (lockable , key supplied). Flanked by shelving with turned supports and further open fret-work galleries. Sympathetically repolished in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent condition, ready to go straight into the home. Please note the loss of a small portion of the fret-work gallery to the middle shelf of the left hand side (see photo).
