This Victorian walnut baby Sutherland table was made circa 1870.

It is of a rounded oval shape, Sutherland tables come in various sizes, this one is of the most desirable size as it is compact and makes a lovely coffee table, but also is easy to move around.

The burr walnut top is supported by the beautifully turned solid walnut legs that swing out on a hinge. Each leg is finished with an original porcelain castor.

The double end supports are joined to the legs, that are in turned joined by the finely turned solid walnut pole stretcher.
