A fine William IV period rosewood breakfast table, circa 1835, of elegant proportions and excellent colour. The beautifully figured circular top is raised on a substantial turned column, supported by a quatrefoil base terminating in boldly carved lion’s paw feet with concealed castors. The table retains its original tilt-top mechanism, allowing the top to be displayed vertically when not in use. Perfect as a dining or centre table, this piece exudes period sophistication and fine craftsmanship.
