Description
An antique late 19th century Austrian painted terracotta sculpture of a seated Jack Russell terrier, finished in white with black markings and fitted with glass inset eyes and a painted collar. The figure is naturalistically modelled, capturing the alert expression and upright seated pose.
The surface shows age-related wear and patina consistent with terracotta figures of this type, adding character and authenticity. A charming decorative object suitable for display on a mantelpiece, cabinet, or shelf.
