Dutch Marquetry:

Dutch marquetry is a type of furniture decoration, characterised by intricate designs created by inlaying thin pieces of wood veneer onto a larger surface. Originating in the Netherlands during the 17th century, it became a prominent feature of Dutch furniture, particularly during the Dutch Golden Age. Dutch marquetry is known for its detailed floral designs, arabesques, and geometric patterns. It reached its peak in the 18th century, influencing furniture design across Europe.
