Description
An early 19th century Windsor armchair, constructed from yew wood with an elm seat.
The chair has a horseshoe-shaped hoop back filled with turned spindles, shaped arms and turned supports. It stands on turned legs united by a traditional crinoline stretcher.
A comfortable and practical example of English country furniture.
