A large antique Georgian, George III, mahogany chest of drawers (circa 1760), of traditional 2 over 3 drawer configuration, with two smaller drawers above three full-width drawers below. The chest retains its original locks and bracket feet, and is fitted with brass handles.
The proportions and simple form reflect the practical design associated with mid-18th century furniture, making it a useful and decorative piece suitable for a bedroom, hallway, or living space.
