A fine pair of antique quality early 20th-century French Louis XV style bedside cabinets each shaped in the classic bombe form and veneered in beautifully figured kingwood laid in a chevron pattern. The cabinets are finished with serpentine grey veined marble tops adding both elegance and durability.
Each piece features two smooth-running drawers with finely cast gilt bronze (ormolu) handles complemented by decorative mounts to the corners and sabots to the feet. The graceful cabriole legs and curvaceous silhouettes give these cabinets a refined presence, suitable for a sophisticated interior.
