A magnificent quality antique burr walnut circular centre or dining table of exceptional craftsmanship, boasting a richly figured top, exquisite marquetry inlay and elaborate gilded decoration. Dating to circa 1920, this outstanding table is a truly impressive statement piece, combining the grandeur of Regency design with the finest decorative detailing.

The substantial circular top showcases beautifully figured burr walnut veneers, arranged to create a wonderfully rich and symmetrical grain pattern. An intricate floral marquetry border, set within a contrasting darker band, encircles the top and provides a striking decorative feature. The deep frieze is further embellished with finely detailed gilded brass floral mounts.

The impressive central pedestal is beautifully shaped and adorned with elaborate gilded carved decoration, complemented by three elegant scrolling walnut supports. The pedestal stands upon a substantial circular platform base, raised on boldly carved paw feet with gilded highlights.
