An elegant Victorian circular sewing / lamp table in richly figured mahogany. The circular top is supported on a refined U-shaped stretcher descending to a turned central column and a well-formed tri-form base terminating on original concealed castors.

To one side, a pull-out work drawer opens to reveal the traditional suspended fabric work bag used historically for needlework and fine personal effects.

The table has an attractive architectural silhouette, the proportions soft and balanced with a warm, lustrous surface that displays the depth and quality of the mahogany. A piece of both practicality and grace, well-suited to contemporary interiors.
