A suberb waterfall bookcase in plum pudding mahogany with scrolls in the base, and 23 spindles in all.
 This is a top quality piece in the manner of Gillows being made around 1835. It has a panelled back and high quality turning ,the scrolls in the base having turned paterae, and the whole sitting on turned feet.The brass handles are possibly later but are of the period. altogether a fine piece waiting for a new home.
