A large 18th century English oak farmhouse table from Cumbria . Having a four-piece cleated top supported on square tapering legs of a pegged construction with the side rails continuing through the legs and having shaped ends. This feature is associated with the Westmorland area. Circa 1780.

 

Clearance under the rails of 24'' 61cm.

 

Of a good colour and condition, legs tipped by a couple of inches and on later castors.
