Flame Mahogany Writing Desk
Description
A splendid French mahogany writing desk from the Napoleon III period. Of generous proportions and very well constructed in solid mahogany with attractive flame mahogany veneers. The superstructure of serpentine outline and containing 4 stationary drawers and a gallery supported by barley twist spindles. The main body of the table with 3 drawers or concave outline, all lockable with the key supplied. All standing on elegant cabriole legs with carved detailings to the knees and feet. Sympathetically refinished in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent condition with a rich colour and patina. Splits into 2 sections for ease of installation.
