Description
A superb French Neoclassical style gilt bronze antique chandelier beautifully cast with lyre shaped central body, entwined by floral leaf branches. There are four reeded curved arms which each terminate to acanthus leaf design gallery, holding frosted glass flame shades.
The lyre is supported by fluted out swept socle and fluted circular pedestal, with swag ornamentation and tapering torch body, entwined by laurel leaves.
The light hangs on an adjustable 40 cm chain and comes with 10cm wide ceiling rose. The gilt bronze has been cleaned and lacquered, the chandelier has been rewired and is in working order.
The overall height including the chain and ceiling rose is 115cm, which can be reduced.
