Carved giltwood 18th century period wall mirror.

The top section is decorated with open lattice carving depicting a vase with a bouquet of flowers sprouting above 'C' scrolls. The floral display is surmounted on a crisply carved outer frame. The outer frame is layered with leaf cut foliage, acanthus leaf and flower heads to the shoulders of the mirror.

The oval shaped frame is embellished with fluted mouldings, egg and dart motifs all within a shallow bevelled inner edge. The mirror is clear with some foxing to the sides and a small localised section to the top of the original mercury plate.

The apron or bottom section of the wall mirror is crisply carved with intertwining scrolls centralising on a inverted pendant.
