Description

A fine George IV pollard oak sarcophagus shaped antique cellarette with cross banding, chamfer top and inlaid ebony diamond shaped escutcheon standing on turned bun feet. When opened the cellarette reveals a mahogany interior with six large compartments for storing wine or spirit bottles. The box retains its original brass hinges, working lock and key.

The internal height measurement for bottles is 29 cm
