This French Solid Oak Demi Lune , console, barley twist table is a timeless piece perfect for adding a touch of old-world charm to any space. Antique lovers will appreciate its classic design. This pair is very unusual and rare design, this table is from the 1800's, the base is very unusual with barley twist s cross stretchers going into a baroque style center, the table can be used in 2 halves as a demi-lune table, or consoles either side of a door way, or put the extension in to seat 6-8, the table has a very good grain down the center adding, more character, the legs have a maple leaf carving on the base corners. Some age related markings adding charm and character to a very unusual table.
Condition report:
Very good condition, an old ink stain on one side, some rubbing on the cross stretchers from the many feet resting upon them, otherwise just age related markings from a table over 200 years old
