Description
A splendid pair of Regency period side cabinets, or chiffoniers. Of excellent construction in solid rosewood and attractive rosewood veneers. The raised superstructures are supported by turned brass columns, have shelves and are surmounted with pierced brass galleries. Each has a pair of doors (lockable, keys supplied) fitted with pleated silk panels. They are flanked by pilasters adorned with brass fluting and crisply cast brass mounts. They open to reveal interiors with adjustable shelving. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops and now offered for sale in very good original condition with a good colour and patina.
