Magnificent 18th century quality large antique George III inlaid mahogany sideboard having a mahogany inlaid gallery back and impressive mahogany bow fronted shaped top with a pretty satinwood inlaid edge. It boasts one long bow fronted drawer to the centre with elegant satinwood inlay and brass pierced handles flanked by two short drawers with satinwood inlay, pierced brass handles, shaped inlay brackets beneath the centre drawer and two spectacular inlaid cupboard doors boasting a expertly inlaid design of ribbons and ferns in satinwood, both opening to reveal shelved cupboards. It stands on six very elegant square tapering legs with satinwood inlay.
This is an exceptional example of craftsmanship of the period. It has so many fine features, the quality, colour and design being stunning.
