Victorian Gothic pine church cupboard
Description
Victorian pitch pine Sacristy cupboard.
Originally from a church this would have been used as storage. Ideal to now be used as a unique sideboard.
Gothic styling throughout. Details include columns, raised panels to doors and ends and the wonderful triangular carved pattern to the front edge, all evocative of the mid Victorian period.
Four doors opening to two storage areas with a total of three adjustable shelves.
Evidence of previous repairs as detailed in our images, all of which have been carried out to a high standard.
When this cupboard came to us a previous well meaning owner had stripped it back to the wood and applied heavy coats of gloss varnish, not nice. We have removed that varnish and the piece is now presented in unfinished condition. Our asking price includes the service of applying wax however it could be supplied as is for you to apply whatever finish of your choosing.
