Description
A good early 20th century burr walnut writing desk in the Queen Anne style. Well constucted in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers and mahogany drawer linings. Of serpentine fronted form and with an arrangement of 5 drawers. The table top is fitted with a sumptuous green leather writing surface complete with gilt tooling to the surrounds. The drawers are all fitted with their charming original solid brass drop handles. The central drawer is lockable (key supplied). All standing on bold cabriole legs with carving to the knees and terminating in pad feet. Sympathetically repolished in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent condition, ready to go straight into the home.
