Victorian Inlaid Burr Walnut Stretcher Table
Description
An excellent mid Victorian period burr walnut stretcher table. Very well made in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. The oval shaped top is fitted with burr walnut veneers, has a thumb nail molding to the edge and has a freeze underneath. There is inlaid detailing to the top and also to the freeze. The top is supported by turned legs in solid walnut , united by an under-stretcher and decorated with carved detailing. The splayed legs terminate in their original brass and ceramic castors. This charming table would fit well into a number of differed room scenarios within the modern home. Sympathetically refinished within our workshops it is now offered for sale in excellent condition with a marvelous warm colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home.
