Description
A splendid late 19th century French writing desk in the Louis XVI style. Of fine costruction in lovely kingwood veneers with solid oak drawer linings. Of serpentine bombe form and decorated with charming inlaid parqutery panels throughout. With a series of 5 drawers to the front (all lockable. keys supplied) and also finished to the rear. The top fitted with a sumptuous tan coloured leather writing surface. Decorated with crisply cast ormolu mounts throughout. Sympathetically refinished in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent condition with a lovely warm colour and finish.
