An absolutely beautiful full period 18th Century Mahogany Gainsborough Library Armchair of good colour and patina. Superbly carved with scrolling acanthus leaf to the tops of the arms and knees, finishing with perfectly executed bold claw and ball feet. standing on good quality replacement casters.

In good solid condition, a rare example of the period In need of reupholstery In material of choice.
